It is worth taking care of beautiful and good condition of skin, hair and nails from the inside. How? With the help of nutricosmetics, which are recommended for people who are at risk of nutrient, vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
Nutricosmetics are nothing else than dietary supplements and preparations that work from the inside on our skin, hair and nails, supplementing any deficiencies in nutrients. They are available in pharmacies and come in the form of tablets, drops or capsules, taken orally in strictly defined doses. This allows you to adjust them to individual preferences.
An interesting fact is that manufacturers offer not only nutricosmetics for humans, but also for animals, for example to improve the condition of hair in dogs.
You should be aware that nutricosmetics are only a dietary supplement with nursing and therapeutic effect and cannot be used as a substitute for a healthy diet.
If we struggle with dry skin, first signs of aging, eczema, dull, weak and falling hair or brittle and splitting nails, nutricosmetics will certainly help us
Moreover, the use of nutricosmetics may prove helpful in the fight against cellulite, water retention in the body and the resulting swelling.
The composition of nutricosmetics is very diverse and depends mainly on the effects we want to achieve. The wide choice means that no one should have a problem with choosing the right preparation for themselves.
Most often we can find vitamins: A (has antioxidant properties, is also recommended for acne-prone skin), C (brightens the skin and helps fight discoloration and wrinkles), E (the so-called “youth” vitamin) and B group (regulate the production of sebum, promote hair growth), as well as minerals: silicon (strengthens nails and hair, helps fight acne), calcium, zinc (reduces wrinkles, relieves skin inflammation), selenium (protects skin from the sun’s rays) and magnesium.
In addition, they may also contain various plant extracts and herbal extracts, as well as active substances that include collagen (increases the number of fibroblasts and the diameter and density of collagen fibers in the dermis), hyaluronic acid (makes the skin more elastic), lycopene, coenzyme Q10 (increases skin tone and hydration, as well as protects against UV radiation), beta-carotene (delays the appearance of signs of aging), biotin (prevents nail splitting and dullness and hair loss) and flavonoids.
Before buying, it is best to carefully analyze the entire composition and the percentage of mineral values in order to choose the one that actually meets our expectations. For example, if we want to strengthen our hair, we should look for nutricosmetics with biotin and field horsetail containing silicon, and if we want to eliminate the so-called orange peel on our thighs and buttocks, then we should choose preparations with L-carnitine, green tea extract, chromium, chlorella or nettle extract
Nutricosmetics do not give immediate results. You have to wait for them for at least a few weeks and it is important to use them regularly – always in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations included in the leaflet.
In addition, you should also remember to lead a healthy lifestyle and balanced diet, because the preparations alone do not have such “striking power”.
However, if after a long time you do not see any improvement in the condition of the skin, hair or nails, it is worth consulting a doctor, as it may turn out that the cause of the problems lies a little deeper and supplementation alone is not enough.
